Grief & Gratitude: Honouring Those We've Loved and Lost
Sound bath · sound therapy · singing bowls · gong · Edmonton
About this session
On the evening of Remembrance Day, join us for a sound journey at my cozy home studio. A place to feel the grief and the gratitude, honouring those who have departed to the next part of the great journey. Come in remembrance of your pets, parents, friends, children and others, in a small sharing honouring circle and full multi-instrumental sound journey.
Thick mats, sheepskins, blankets, bolsters and tea all provided.
What to expect
Arrival and settling in
You set up your mat, get comfortable, and we do a brief grounding check-in. I'll explain the instruments and what to expect. No pressure, no performance.
The journey
I layer sounds, building and releasing in waves. Your only job is to breathe and let go. Thoughts will come. That's normal. Let them drift past like clouds.
The close
I bring the volume and intensity down gradually, ending in near-silence.
Integration time
A few minutes of quiet silence before anyone moves. Then we come back slowly together.
What to bring
Provided at the home studio: thick mats, sheepskins, blankets, bolsters and tea.
- An eye mask if you have one
- Water for after
- An open mind — that's genuinely all you need
